My portfolio showcases my work from my solo artistry project under the name Natalia Joy, my collective AKARI, some of my session singing experience, and an additional showreel.
NATALIA JOY
My debut solo EP, Kid at Heart, drops on November 28th, 2025. This deeply personal project was born out of trauma and loss, capturing my journey through insomnia, grief, and the loss of self — but also perseverance, healing, and forgiveness. Across its five tracks, I explore what it means to rediscover hope and identity after pain.
The first two singles from the EP, A King and Mind on Fire, showcase the vulnerability and emotional depth that define the project. Kid at Heart weaves together elements of R&B, soul, indie, alternative, and folk, reflecting my diverse musical roots. My biggest inspirations for this body of work include Cleo Sol, Jordan Rakei, and Lauryn Hill.
Akari
In 2024, AKARI, a Berlin-based R&B/soul band for which I serve as the lead vocalist, released its debut EP, showcasing our distinctive sound within the contemporary soul landscape. Additionally, we released a single, I See It Now, a preview of the full-length album we are currently developing.

SESSION SINGING
My work for Kelvin Jones
I worked as a touring backing vocalist for Kelvin Jones, a well established pop artist, during the summer and fall of 2024. Additionally I recorded vocals on multiple songs from his latest album, THE RUDE AWAKENING OF MR BIG JUICE, and performed in his music video for ALL DAY. I also performed for his appearance on MOMA of ARD.
